Squirrel Hunting
« on: Aug 15, 2004, 11:49:52 AM »
Well opening day finally got here. I went out and got 5 Fox Squirrels and was done hunting at 8 am. I seen at least 15 squirrels. Looks like a good season ahead.

squirrels beware,  bobberstop smells fur in the air
If you can catch it,  trap it,  jig it,  or kill it,  there is a place to talk about it.

We still have a week to wait here in NY, but I always look forward to the first hunt of the fall- squirrels! I use a Marlin .22, no scope, and am looking forward to it!

bobber - that's some impressive shootin'!  I haven't specifically targeted squirrels but want to this year.  I put a scope on my .22 Remington bolt last year but didn't get a chance to get out.
Their comin' right for us!
