I am looking for a .54 cal round ball mold and came across several manufactures. Lee had a few, offering 3 differant diameters for a .54 cal. This mold is a gift for my father who has been building his own flintlock from a kit. I fo not know off hand who made the barrel. What diameter bullet mold would you reccomend. I would assume a new barrell would be tighter and therefore you may want a slightly smaller ball?
