Can't see the pictures, but the spurs seem especially short for such a nice bird.  What happened?  Are they broken or worn off?

Just never grew, I have heard of it but never seen it first hand before. One of those oddities like a bearded hen I guess.

Not huge but i finally got 1!  8 3/4 inch beard 3/4 inch spurs both sides and 20lbs 2ozs.

Nice job Dan. Mine was relatively small. 19+lbs, 9" beard (thin), 3/4 and 7/8" spurs. Not the one I had on camera, the beard was to thin. I think that one was there too though, there were two gobbling. I wasn't going to wait, I'm happy with this one it sounded like the one that I was looking for yesterday that sounded younger roosted up front.
