Second day....Bird down!

This is the proudest moment of being a dad to date I think! Couldn't be prouder to be honest. Another one hooked. He's already babbling about deer hunting this year...lol. Now I fully get it when a bunch of you guys talk about the feeling of being with your kids when they take their first game.
All the hours of prep, scouting, and at the range shooting paid off. Theres a helluva story with it also. This one didn't come easy. I had to use every bit of skills to bring this one in today. Actually 2 came in and he followed and let them separate before taking the shot, all on his own. He got to experience first hand really working a bird. Patience was tested for both of us today. Boy a 10 year old really can't sit still for more than 30 minutes...lol.
Anyway, broke the ice. Now onto the next.
