Is it possible for a US citizen to go on an unguided hunt in Canada without going through an outfitter company? I am very interested in hunting in eastern Canada (Quebec and Newfoundland provinces) but I do not wish to book a guide service. I would just like to purchase the license and tags and hunt public land, if that is possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
