A friend and I have hunted Montana, but this is the third year without drawing a tag. We're looking to hunt around Salmon. We hunt on our own on foot. Usually hunt in Montana with friends out of a wall tent. Any idea's on where we might find a cabin or place to rent in mid October for ten days? Also where there is reasonable access to the Natl. Forest in that area. We're starting to look at our maps and put a plan together. Any local info would be appreciated.
