I can't get the picture to load for some reason but from what I've read it's a weasel. If it is a weasel it should be dry by the morning. They don't take long to dry at all.

Yes it is a weasel... how long after it is dry until the fur starts to go down hill? have you ever done a tan on a weasel?

I'm not sure how long weasels will keep since I usually sell them within a month of catching them. As for the tanning part I do a little bit of taxidermy work and sometimes I will tan a weasel or two that I catch when I'm tanning other things.
