I think you can do it right from the comfort of the house online and skip the wait Buddy. If I hear different I'll pass it on. I don't think that 2 on the first day thing will work with the new system. If we do have to wait in line I'll bring the coffee and wait with ya. ;)

Ok I have it on good authority the the Surplus permits Go on sale the 9th of October. Internet only. There will be no waiting in line like we have done in the past. They expect them to go quick.

Also we are a signature away from having a fall turkey season for this year to run the same as the western half of the state. Should be press releases as soon as it is signed.

ANTLERLESS DEER PERMIT SALES BEGIN OCTOBER 9
 
Surplus antlerless deer permits for Wildlife Management Zones (WMZ) 10 (6,161 permits); 11(3,307 permits), 13(2,589 permits), and 14 (2,627 permits) will be available for online sale and at any license vendor locations beginning Tuesday, October 9, 2012at 8:00 A.M. There are no permits available in other WMZs.
 
NEW THIS YEAR: Hunters who do not have a computer may purchase antlerless deer permits at any walk-in license agent location (not just MassWildlife offices) or they can use any computer, such as at a public library. For walk-locations, hunters should check license agent hours of operation prior to October 9th when permit sales begin. A listing of license agent locations and phone numbers is availableatwww.mass.gov/dfwele/dfw/recreation/licensing/vendors/license_vendors_googlemap.htm
 
To avoid long lines at MassWildlife offices, deer hunters are encouraged to purchase surplus antlerless deer permits online from a home, work, or other public computer at  www.mass.gov/massfishhunt, or ask a friend or family member to purchase permits online for them. Anyone purchasing surplus antlerless deer permits MUST have the last name and Customer ID # of all hunters for whom they are purchasing permits.  Surplus antlerless deer permits will be issued on a first-come/first-served basis.  Hunters may purchase only one permit/WMZ/day for Zones 10 and 11 and up to four permits/WMZ/day for Zones 13 and 14 (Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket

Should have no problem for zone 10. Our office in Bourne has parking for about 10 cars so that can be a problem for the guy's down here.

Thanks. You too. I have been getting 2 for 11 the past few years, Don't see that happening this year. They will probably sell out in a few hours.

Left the bride in charge......She was not happy with me. Same issue that Deerme had but she did get one for all 6 of us. Zone 11 took about 2 hours to finally pull it off.

i was able to get in and get one for me and a buddy for zone 10 earlier this morning.  i'll get one more tomorrow.  2 buck and 3 doe tags should be enough (for MA) this season  :P
