work started today

today our group went out at the crack of dawn with binocs and ears to try to start patterning these birds on the new land.we heard a bunch of gobbling and heard the direction they headed.we stayed back a ways to not disturb.since it is brand new land today was definately informative.3 weeks till our opener but it was nice to be out hearing the birds.we also freshened up a couple man made existing blinds and did a total rebuild on another since the loggers thought it would be cute to run over my blind with a skidder.we heard and saw birds and the blood is pumpin now!

we had one but forgot to take pics of the blinds.when we build one we build it for 2 guys to comfortably sit.they get called log cabins because they are so big.lol.we did get video of some deer but not the turks since they caught us walkin around on  our way to rebuild blinds on the property we have had for a few years now.we went as far this year to use a rock and pound little logs in for our corners.i also rebuilt the stonewall behind it so it sholdnt take long for the birds to get comfy with it.
