Today I'm asking all of those that have FB to go to the Town Of Johnsburg page and state your opinion on the new proposed law banning guns from our town buildings.  The secretary has opened a can of worms with this. In the name of a new workplace safety policy. Now I'm agreeing that they should feel safe in the work place. Most law abiding, ethical people wouldn't bring a gun into the town hall in the first place. Making a stupid law banning guns won't stop those intent on causing harm to public sector workers in the first place, and only allows the government to align more with gun control freaks to ban guns all together.
Our county has adopted this law, so now they feel the townships should as well. They are still fighting over the counties adoption of it. It is costing tax payers thousands every year, for metal detectors and officers. When there wasn't any reason other than those that are in power to control guns. This may spark it being resurrected in the higher courts where it has somewhat died off.
As this law "banning" guns is unnecessary as well as against your constitutional right to bear arms.

Sorry to hear you had to join FB to make your point, but it was a valiant sacrifice.

My friend where I hunt went out for a run this morning before sunrise and had a fisher in his duck pen. The ducks were in the pond, so he just scared it off. Then on his run on the side road near his house he sees a coyote, so he flails and yells at it and it ran 50-100yds and stopped. A while later after he turned around the coyote started to circle him to intercept his path. Took some more yelling and waving but it finally turned and left. Pretty crazy, especially considering he was wearing blaze yellow vest and a headlamp.
