I drilled and tapped both ends of a 10" piece of steel bar. One end I tapped for a field tip/broadhead (8-32 thread). The other end I tapped for a stop (5/16-12?), that end I bolted a big washer on for a stop. I had a piece of 1/2" copper with a 3/4" threaded female coupling, so I cut it to 6". You slide the copper over the steel bar, thread the bar on to the tip and use the slide as a reverse hammer. Typically you would want more weight on the handle, but this worked great. The broadhead (G5 Montac) was buried in my wooden back stop over 1/2" and popped out with 2-3 whacks.

You can buy a slide hammer, but I'm light on cash. Just make sure it comes with an 8-32 thread attachment.

No need to buy what you can make with a little ingenuity. ;)

The Giants didn't do any better than I did at bowling. The wife even bowled better than I did. I can only hope the Jets beat the Cowgirls.....hunts2long

Yep the game was a bummer. I was at a sports bar with a friend ($10 buckets of Coors light = a good game regardless  ;D )

The Jets gave us an exciting game, but I'd rather they took the lead early and made it less stressful. Needless to say I'm somehow a bit dehydrated this morning  8). Romo found out that Revis didn't have any INT's last year, because everyone else is smart enough to not throw towards him  ;).

No need to buy what you can make with a little ingenuity. ;)
This one was tough without a lathe or drill press. My thread isn't quite straight as I'd like, but it works. Not easy to drill a straight hole in the end of a bar in a vice.

Actually they were all pass throughs  ;D, not that they always are but so far this year no full misses. The center of my old target is a bit soft. This last broadhead was right up against the previous arrow so it went through the foam to easy. Unfortunately I hit the back of one broadhead with a second. I loose more that way than on deer, after deer I can reuse them.
