Another suburban surprise tonight....  A beaver walked through the yard, then went back into the creek.  Wife spotted him, so I grabbed the boy and ran outside so he could see him up close.  A quick cell pic after he got back into the water -

At first I was thinking that's the biggest damned 'skrat I've ever seen (they've been up in the lawn before), but then I saw the tail kick sideways.  Was trying to get it to slap and dive when in went in the water so my son could see.

BTW Dom, feel free to send a jar of the green stuff out here  ;)
