Nope;  Bog & Mom made the best dinner, and heaping helpings of battered fluke put it into the "meals we'll never forget" category; Even Lori tried and ate some and to my amazement had a second piece.

Dog must be getting better. She snagged my venison burger of the table that I had just grilled up. Came back inside after turning the grill of and it was long gone. :( Normally, I would have been upset but she loves her venison. ;D ;D

Took first skeet lesson yesterday.  I only marginally suck. ;). Not bad from 1 and 7, but need to develop a much more consistent (and faster, for that matter) swing.  Just cleaned 6 boxes worth of crap out of the 870.  Man, burnt powder and Breakfree CLP smell good.

i saw 2 bucks on my way home from cutting firewood tonite. one a nice basket 4 and the other a beautiful 8. i cant hunt this property but man it got me excited for the season opener. as i watched the 8 in my binocs he stood on his back feet and pulled apples off a tree. when he was up there he shook his head and his horns were sending apples everywhere what a rush :o

dont be afraid to stop in on your way back thru.    thats why i shoot trap. its alot less humbling than skeet.
