We had our last trip to LG for the year. My uncle got talking to our neighbors. On the island and we ended up taking their 14 year old son Matt out fishing for the afternoon. We started off slow, but he ended up getting three fish (22.5, 23.5, 24") breaking his previous biggest fish (16" SMB) three times. It's always great to bring someone new to the sport out. He had a great time and got to bring his two biggest fish home to eat. Saturday night Heather and I were treated to some cosmic debris and saw at least eight shooting stars in under an hour. Sunday we fished about two hours inn a new spot after my father and uncle got skunked on their morning trip. We managed three with the first two being a double, second one of the season. It was a great weekend and we got my parents up to enjoy the weather and water (78*).
