I always wanted an O/U. Trap always looked like a lot of fun. I got my father a spring launcher many years ago, still hasn't been taken out of the box.

o what i would give to b 21 again!!  8)   i started shooting when i was 14.

I always wanted an O/U. Trap always looked like a lot of fun. I got my father a spring launcher many years ago, still hasn't been taken out of the box.

i have an skb and i wish every gun i owned felt as nice as that when shouldered. but i guess after 10's of thousands of rounds it kind of has become an extension of my limbs. ;D

its alot of fun. most if not all gun clubs that have trap teams have a practice night once a week that is open to the public. and a round of 25 is only like 4-5 dollars.

Figured upstate was busy with flooding duty, this doesn't sound good:

Lost power here from 6am - 3:30pm, wind moved my canoe 5 feet.

The Hudson River at North Creek is nearly 1.5 feet over the 1948 record, and hasn't crested yet as I type this.

Figures I was busy with work the first half of the week and it was warm/calm. Yesterday morning there was severe thunderstorms and this morning its windy. Funny thing is the Weather Channel says it's only blowing 7mph out. ::) They better check again since they arent even close, should have slept in. Might head out for a late morning assault if it calms down.

nice pike jj.  how many fow was that ol girl hangin out in?

sure hope sunday is as nice a morning as today!

i spoiled the kids fun last night and gave him a turkey load to shoot :o
packed alot more punch than the trap loads he was shooting. i wanted him to know what to expect if he happens to get a shot at a gobbler but now im thinkin that was a bad idea.  ::)
going to try to get him a recoil pad and hopefully regain his confidence by sunday.

I have been busy. Just home for 4 hours sleep and back to it shortly.
Working with the rangers and DEC with the air boats. We have two of us trained in swift water rescue so we are in the pre plan for any dam failure.
Our rescue/brush truck took on a little to much water and fried the fuse block, so that is being fixed this morning. Hoping with the river going down we are on the up side... ;D

Ramrod, now you have to worry about him flinching. I have Heather shoot some low power short brass for practice, then not tell her there will be a difference. When there's a critter in front of her so she probably won't even notice  ;).

Upstate, I probably know at least one of the guys you're training with. All the DEC I've met from up there are all good guys.
