Well just got back from Maryland and hockey is just about done for the year so now I can really start concentrating on Turkey hunting.  Got to meet Drobs today and what a great guy he is.  Still feel bad dave that you drove all that way and watched the wrong game. Oh well it was still great to meet you and hopefully we can hook up some striper fishing this summer. The guys on the team are still jealous that you can shoot over 30 deer in a year.  Well thanks for the making the trip Dave and I forgot to give my condolences on Kentucky when I saw you.  I know what it feels like when your team gets bounced.

Tooth is better Raquett thanks for asking.  Still hurting a lot but I think it is actually tightening up in my mouth and should hopefully be fine.  Thats funny that Drobs thought I had a funny accent because I thought he had a little southern drawl going on lol ;D

It is pretty cool to meet someone hundred's of miles away that you would have never known with out this site.

It was great to meet you too. No worries about the drive it isnt to bad, made it back in 45 min. Still cant believe I watch the wrong game. ::) Southern drawl accent??Haha Thats funny. Good thing I didnt tell you guys about the Sika deer down here(like Mini Elk). ;D ;D

Been looking around for some birds, have to remember my phone has a camera, had a couple hens at 15-30 yds yesterday with a tom further off in the woods. I could hear the tom scratching and finally saw him when he followed the hens after they finally spooked.

I  think that's why all the birds I'm finding are down low.;) Had some big flocks last fall but I'm only seeing and hearing of small flocks so far; kinda wonder how many we lost?

Drove north yesterday JJ. All the usual places that have birds hanging out, had none. I'm wondering myself. Group of 6 toms we had coming out at my mothers, has not reappeared.
