Kinda cranky-Everyone's hunting and I'm getting ready to go to work    OT tonight, At least It will help pay for the Maine trip.  My brother hit a going out of business sale at a local Crane company today. Scored me a 5000 watt Honda generator for camp,  ahh  quiet power.  They were just about giving stuff away.  He filled his truck up and called me to make the 20 mile ride to get another load.

Took the wifey to the firemans ball tonight. Decent meal, and good people. They even gave me an award for returning to the ranks and picking up right where I left off.
This makes my 27TH year as a volunteer fireman. Wasn't always this company, have 8 years active with them. Last 6 years I was in the company in the
community I was working in. Something I've always done, my dad was a chief for 33 years. So I grew up in it, reminds me...If you have a volunteer company in your town and aren't a member. Concider joining, it is a lot of time but the rewards are many.
Tomorrow Tyler and I are going early to kill one.
