I remember my and the boys the summer we got outta high school drove out to Henderson Harbor to fish Kings for a few day and we stopped at a little restaurant and we all got Clam chowder for an app. When the waitress brought it out I was like WTF! Vegetable soup? It blew our minds, we had never seen anything like it. It was ok but nothing like New England. I bet spicy is good though.

Joe Snag makes a pretty good ADK chowder....I think it was the Freshwater clams that gave it the Flavor.

I thought it was the adirondack mountain oysters  :o.

Only Chowder I ever made was a NE style with laker and clams.

It's all food to someone ;), heck as long as it tastes good I'll eat just about anything. I tried the chowder, was real good. In all honesty everything I had at both get togethers was great.

    Yes it was Tims deer...  He shot it around 2 on Monday with the ML.....    Had a bad shot and didnt  find it till 11 that night...Dressed out at 176...   It has about 23 little stickers and nice mass....
