Topping your best buck is always in most hunters minds......we all want to....but age and wisdom will allow him to be happy with what ever he is able to kill....heck right now I'd shoot a unicorn with a 3" spike.....

That's a great buck. I do sort of feel bad for the kid, he probably won't realize how rare of a buck it is for a few years of hunting.

                 That surely is an awesome buck, but look @ it this way, he might hold off from taking small 1's untill a big 1 comes around. If he has patience & scouts around, he might get a decent buck every yr.  ???

A great buck and will be hard to beat but he has lots of years to do. Congrats and good luck with the next one....I have always wanted my last one to be my biggest....hunts2long

Noisy walk across frozen plowed pasture, and frost on the gate chain made a racket getting through.  Sitting in the box stand now, and all I hear is traffic and the clip clop of buggies.

Oh and we found it......
270 at 45 yards and not much blood and the exit wound was so small I couldn't put a finger in it.............
