Truck still doesn't run right with the new distributor cap, and that was no fun job with one of the tapped ears on the distributor broken and the other stripped. When I found that I was hopeful that that was the problem. I had done the cap this spring along with plugs and wires, but it's missing so that's got be the first place I look. And today I parked to get lunch and smelt coolant as soon as I got out. Looked under the truck and it's pouring out
. Got a new set of plugs and wires on the way home. Got under the truck to see that as best I can tell the water pump is shot. Will probably go into work for a short morning to get a few things done and take the rest of the day off to start on it. Shouldn't be a very bad job, but anything on a vehicle that's 15 years old can get difficult.
