Wavy 10 is from Hampton Roads, Virginia...that had to be VA Beach...lived there for 8 years...never saw a deer on the Beach...Looks like it is headed North, Drobs will see him in the morning...

Spotted in choppy waters trying to get back ashore

MONMOUTH COUNTY, N.J. (NBC) - Cameras were at Monmouth Beach, N.J., Sunday afternoon when a deer was spotted trying to navigate the breaking surf.

A barrier of rocks prevented the deer from being able to get back on the beach, and the animal ran helplessly in the waters.

A resident who was on the beach tried to chase what appeared to be a young buck parallel to the shoreline to get it to a point where the rocks ended and the sand began.

Eventually, animal control and humane society responded and tranquilized the deer, which was found with a broken leg.

Officials are confident the deer will be nursed back to health.

Upstate, you have to have a workplace over the hill from your house. Then you could still hunt to and from work everyday...hunts2long
