              Finished my sons boiler hook up yesterday, I'm back in the hunting mode. The deer should be moving pretty good because of the up coming storm. They were out last night in a field feeding like crazy.

Just spent 40 minutes on the phone with State Farm. Got cut off twice they called me back both times. Computer messed up had to give the my info twice. The good news is they are glad I wasnt injured. Gee thanks are you going to fix my truck.......

Cruddy! Was yours the only one that got hit? I have always wanted one of those Bass mailboxes but wont get one for fear of that happening.

I didn't walk out to the street to look both ways yet.  I'm guessing they picked ours because it was already leaning.  I put it up last year when the old one half got nailed by a chunk of ice from the plow.  I went cheap with the short post and spike, since I didn't have time to do it right with long post and concrete.

I beat the storm so far, last trip was this morning and I was scheduled to be hauled out Monday AM. They kept moving the forecast ahead and this morning they were calling for the strong winds to start Mon; left messages for my hauler to see if I could move it up. He was busy with other scheduled work plus everyone else that was worried about the storm and didn't think he could get to it, but we would get it out in the dark Sunday if things were looking bad for Mon. Anyway, I got lucky and he had a cancellation; finished my last trip at 1 PM, hauled out at 3 and had it framed and tarped just past dark, finished in the headlights.





One step closer to Ohio, now I have to see what Sandy does, would like to be out there when things clear up.

Glad you got it out early JJ...      But I think most of this is going to miss central and northern NY...   

    I see they just closed a long stretch of the canal and are lowering the water 3 to 4 feet...
