Took half day off, since I'd have to leave early anyway to pick up kids this afternoon as the sitter has a funeral she needs to attend.  Got a haircut, just had chili and a grilled chipotle wrap from the coffee shop for lunch, and I think I'll put the rings and glass on the 10/22 now.  Ahh, the sound of silence with no kids in the house.   8)

Owls really seem fooled by this ASAT 3d camo suit I have been wearing still hunting. A barred owl flew down to attack me as I stopped for a drink on the way out at dusk last week; had to wave my arms to scare it when it got about 10 feet above me.

Another one swooped in above me on a steep part of the mountain this morning, it was there for several minutes trying to figure out what I was; managed to get the cell phone out for some pics 8):
