Last night I was out on the deck watching and listening to a loon. All of sudden it starts calling like mad. Out of nowhere comes an Eagle, just above the water. The loon makes a dive for the bottom. Eagle then lands in a tree and waits.  Loon comes back up and Eagle makes another pass but gives up and leaves. Would have loved to had the camera ready.....hunts2long

In a perfect NH/ME world they would eat all the perch and pike, and then eat the loons to a point that our lure prices go back down and some off limits areas open back up ::) I like Lead ;D
