Awesome fish everyone!!!  I am sure the memories will last all for a long time!
 
I was drafting water from a brook in town.....our crew learned a new method and that we have more water accessible than they thought.... ;D ;D

Ladder dam.....Raised level a foot and low level strainer through a roof ladder to hold it in place....We had everything we can run going and still had almost 80lbs of residual....Could have helped feed another pumper or fill a pond....
Was a lot of fun....found out my new gear is so much more water proof than the old...waded into the brook and I know it went over the boots twice....but no water in them... ;D ;D ;D
 
Thought about using the tarp....but the current is a little to strong there....all I could do to hold the tarped ladder down to drive a halligan into the bottom to hold it...a couple short pikes for support and we were in business....Drafted fine...until the sneaky trainer drained everything...including the pump....Then they struggled a little to get a prime....but no one freaked and lost composure....Just stopped and thought it out....and pulled the right levers.....(there are times you have to use the water in your tank)...LOL....Juniors had a blast setting monitors and advancing hand lines.....worked with them on proper techniques....for both exterior and interior advancement.....they are all taking FF1 starting the 30TH......Feels good to have a majority of the Department behind what I want to do...except the Chief....he never showed up....1ST assistant was there though and was really impressed with the turn out and that they all embraced what we were trying to accomplish.... ;D ;D

Slow day on the Salt. Only 2 keepers, Could only get to where we were yesterday due to weather. Still had a great time with AA as always.
