Caught about 20 smallies this afternoon biggest was 13 inches. Not exactly what I was looking for. I was going to enter it in the MFF contest but thats only good for 3rd. I have to at least beat Raquette. ;D ;D Would be nice if they did smallmouth and largemouths in a separate category. I did see this guy while wading.

One thing you can't do in the city....  Went for a ride tonight, got a pizza, and ate dinner at the elementary school playground.  Kids played for almost an hour, and then we took the usual way home along the tracks so we could look for trains.  Saw a dad walking in the tall grass along the road with five kids in tow around 845, some in PJs.  Got a closer look, and some of them had jars.  Looks like they were headed out for a firefly hunting expedition.

Yep, it's nice to be able to talk like that, boy that rake & my 4 wheeler did a # on my back today, I got it done about 7:15 pm w/a few breaks in between, but it was worth it. I'll post some pic of the finish product soon. Hey someday we'll get out on some fish.

Sitting here pondering things because everyone else is sleeping in after the Fireworks festivites last night.

Boy jumped in bed with me at 6:01.  I did my best to ignore him, and then he actually slept until 8:45.  He normally is up at buttcrack of dawn.  Daughter and wife slept in too a little bit.

         Went to my sons house, bucksnort for a family get together this afternoon, well we had a pretty good time, I acquired some fireworks,  the grandkid loved them, I don't have a problem w/ backyard fireworks s long as you be responsible as I know we are all therre. here's a few pics.

Well the lake trip with my 3 girls was a success! We had a blast, weather was mostly great just got back. Mostly swam, boated, and fished with the girls. pretty sure we put a hole into every mouth of every Perch in Winnipesaukee  ;D. Got a bunch of Smallies on Black and gold jerkbaits to when I wasn't baiting hooks 8). Passed 4 days on my quest for no Snuff! Did get nailed by a wasp today that didn't feel the greatest and I have a pretty good gash and black and blue on my ribcage, wrestling match got pretty hardcore and I took a stainless prop to the midsection ::). Don't worry, I still won 8).
