Wow..  Firewood prices are way down this year..  Just got 10 face cord, cut split and delivered for $510.     ;D

  Face Cord vs. Full Cord of Firewood

The two most common ways to measure firewood is by the "Full Cord" or "Face Cord".   A face cord measures 8' wide x 4' high, the depth of a face cord may vary depending on the person who is cutting the wood (average firewood length is 16"-18").  A "Full Cord" of firewood measures 8' wide x 4' high x 4' deep.

So There are 3 face cord in a real cord if it's 16" stove length? I think this might be a trick for unknowing wood consumers.  ::) ::)

               I'm getting 8 full cords for $600, of course I've got to cut & split it. So I'll be busy for a while plus I'm building that deck. ::)

     I use to get a big log load for $650...  About 22 to 26 face cords..It would last me two years...   But I just cant do it any more... ;)
