Here too...that was the water temps...it was 96 at one point here today...

   I closed the house up first thing this am and shut all the blinds...   Never got over 75* in here...

Hope it's very temporary AA. I've got 2 medium rods with 10lb and three heavy rods with 20lb ready and one to line up now. That should be enough for this weekend. I had the house closed up but left the AC on low because I had poker here today.

Just looked at the Syracuse paper, someone from 30-30's town broke the N Y state record for brook trout with a 21" 5# 14 oz, brookie, WOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was looking forward to coming home to a nice cool house. 87* inside when I walked in. Cental air INOP! Wire on the Converter thingy burned up. Replaced it. Ah cool air.... burned up again!!! Made a call to local repair man and his son was here in 10 minutes. ;Db Replaced the part and I'm in business. Awesome turnaround! Going out for a boat ride with my family and I might meet up with the LUND folks Cheeks out!!!

Count yourself lucky.  AC has been dead at my wife's store since last week.  Was supposed to be fixed yesterday because they were waiting on a part, now it's been put off until Friday.

ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - New York conservation officials say there's a new record for the biggest brook trout caught in state waters, with a five-pound, 14-ounce fish caught last month in the lower Adirondacks.

According to the Department of Environmental Conservation, this is the seventh time in eight years the record has been broken.

William Altman caught the trout in the West Canada Wilderness Area in Hamilton County on May 5. The fish broke the old record by six ounces.

Officials say the fish was stocked as a fingerling by the DEC's Rome Fish Hatchery and is considered a hybrid of a domestic brook trout and a wild Canadian-strain brook trout.

Are you allowed to use two per person on the salt water? I never looked, guess I should. I somehow got the responsibility of rigging the rods for everyone, could be either two or four of us Saturday so I needed four heavy rods (got a forth with a short DR rod). My uncle keeps talking about porgies so I may get roped into panfishing if I can't talk him into looking for bass, haddock or cod in the event we get lucky and limit out on fluke. Forecast looks good, I'm really looking forward to getting back on the big water, have only been out a few times and not in several years.
