Don't think that is giant hogweed, looks more like cow parsnip which grows all around here but doesn't cause problems.

  That's what I was just looking up JJ..  The leaves on hogsweed are much bigger...  But if  30-30 called and got a positive ID that would help us all out..

You have to crawl through 80 yards of it to get from the boats to the campsite...kinda like the Poppy fields in the Wizard of Oz...

Well it's cleaned, lubed and no parts left over. But... there is a light ticking I can't figure out so the side casing will come off one more time.

I have that same light ticking in My Shimano Stradic after sticking a Bluefin with it  two season ago, still works like a champ. I love shimano, nothing better..............

cow parsnip has yellow flower @ the top instead of white, that's what they told me because I have cow parsnip around my house.

It can be confused w/Queen Anne's Lace, that has thinner stalks & daintier leaves.
