We go every year on a remote walleye trip, my father, brother and a few other guys. It's a great week and we go via train so we don't have the limited weight and cost of a float plane. But we still have the same atmosphere paired with well managed walleye/pike waters. We get one or two lakes to ourselves, we'll be on Loc Madora again this year. Caught my PB pike up there a few years ago, 44"/22lbs.

          Looks like a nice area, Loc Madora is a nice size lake, you should have a good time up there. I heard that the flies are real thick in some areas, I guess it's not much different than the Adk's.

We have always had an unreal amount of black flies to deal with. If it weren't for that you would never want to leave.

You guys should install a redneck shower.....I'm putting one in our hunting camp this year.....I will post some pics after I install it...all that you need is a freestanding shower unit 5 gallon pail and a handheld shower hose......best feeling ever after a few days in the woods

It's a 540 mile 8 hr. ride home somtime I can't stand myself.

Yea! & you are probably the most mountainous of them all Chucky. It is a good life up there, it's a good thing it's cold mostly when we're there, if it was hot we'd never get close to an animal

No 7-11's sell beer in MD. Only certain gas stations do so I went to one. It was closed too. Oh well it was a dry night but it wont be tonight.hehe
