Had a nice day down at Mom and Pops.  Fished at Deans Cove on Cayuga for a little bit.  Old timer coming off asked if we wanted to see some fish, and offered up three lakers he'd gotten.  I winched his boat on to the trailer for him as a small token of thanks.  Six filets are sitting in the fridge at Mom's now, destined for the smoker.

Only thing it cost me was a bloody knuckle - slipped with the filet knife while cleaning them, and hit the top of my thumb.  The two females had eggs developing, and the male had probably twelve alewives in his stomach.

After taking customers out I decided to see how I could do in the same section of stream, water had come down a lot. Caught 11 or 12, kept 5 including two beauties at 9-10" that made a nice dinner.
