Way to get a feel for them...they are a very unique fish to catch and depth, bait and conditions and cast need to be very specific most times...once you figure them out they are fun...

           Nice crappies you caught there, they are a hard fish to figure out. I've targeted them in open water but don't get them in any #'s just 1 or 2, I do better through the ice.

It'll take a lot of bait at half a dozen per fish  . We'll be back for sure, my father had a good time too. He was saying on the way home that he almost wished he never got addicted to turkey hunting because it consumes the spring.

If I understand the article a wounded animal counts toward your bag limit if we had that law in ny lots of bow hunters would have no tags.....Ted should know the regulations before hunting out of state

             Of course every state has it's own laws, if it wasen't for his show the wardens wouldn't have known that he wounded a deer. How many people in the state do the exact same as Ted did & not get caught? To me a tag limit would mean "the kill", I don't like seeing a animal being wounded but some times that happens

Well the boat had a skunk in it today. She had a nine page paper she needed to write so we only got about 2 and a half hours of fishing in. She said she had a good time but I don't believe her.lol First time she had fished in a boat and wouldn't even stand up. Told me the boat rocked too much. Claims she wants to go again but that remains to be seen. She could cast pretty well though.

               What kind of boat do you have? My son has a 12' Aluminum & it rocks like crazy, his girl friend doesn't like standing in it either. Her parents have a pontoon boat & she stands & walks around on it. I'm not saying to go out & buy a pontoon boat but if the relationship progresses you might have to compromise & get something that feels more  compfortable for her.

30-30 Its is a 16ft Bass Tracker. I think she just needs some more boat time we were only on a 28 acre lake. No waves since its trolling motor only. Yes I agree on a big lake its alot rougher. Not to many lakes to fish around me.
