drobs i have an oldy but goody highlander trail cam from back in the 35mm days. one of the og's. the camera that plugs into it does not fire anymore. you can hear it trigger but the shutter does not release. is it possible to convert this to a digital camera? as far as i know the board and infrared triggering still works fine.

It's not to bad, just can't wait to get the bandages and splints out next Friday. I'm actually taking some light pain killers, but mostly to numb the itching.

Does it have a Canon camera in it or a premier in it? From what I just researched no it cannot be used for a digital camera.

Sounds like the shutter wire may have came unsoldered. The camera does turn off and on correct? I am looking for the camera hack for that camera just haven't found it yet.

The case could be salvageable but he wont be able to use the board with it. He will need to take everything out and start over. One issue would be getting the flash and lens holes to line up with another camera.

   took day off from work going to kindergarden class with granddaughter  today  have slide show of work and some misc. hunting camp deer ,moose and others

Sounds like a a great day, and a good chance to share some outdoor experiences with kids that may not get to see it otherwise. Those three girls are going to be aweful popular in a few years  .
