Flight out of Orlando was an hour late because they couldn't locate the maintenance logbook.  We watched them shut the door to our flight out of Philly while on the shuttle bus less than 100 yds away.
They rebooked the three of us on various later flights, but then one of those was going to be dlayed, resulting in another missed connection.

We said screw it, and got a car.  Just north of Lehigh Valley now, and we'll beat our later flight home.

Sounds like you were on a SW plane, I wouldn't take one of theirs for free. None of us at work even book Newark (or Boston) to Albany flights anymore, we just drive and get back sooner. Hope the drive went well and you're back home by now.
