Anyone looking for company on the ice Saturday? Was going to try to get the snowmobile out on a lake, but the one I was planning on has thin spots. My brother soaked a leg getting on the ice to fish Tuesday. I think it will sit another week unless someone knows of a lake with better ice. If all else fails I may take it for a tow to Joe Snags lake, but may as well fish instead.

Looks like we are heading back to camp in a week. Oldest boy wants to show his almost fiance camp life before she departs to South dakota for 3 months residency training. Long weekend next week so that will be good.

Who's going to fill in on the countdown for the ice extravaganza? ;D ;D No one picked up the slack while you were gone the last time.

Getting ready to go pay the cable bill on the way to hang my stand for tomorrow. Might even take a gander at the trail cams while I'm there. One has been out for over 3 weeks.

Preferably 'eyes or crappies but we'll fish for anything. Probably just Heather and I. Primarily interested in jigging and leaving the tip-ups home. Was going to go for a long drive looking for smelt and salmon, but my brothers group did horrible Tuesday. That may have been the weather though, they usually do pretty well. Really just looking to get the gear dusted off, seems like a waste to not go when the weather is going to be that nice.

Just talked to the guy I was going to go with, he has to head back to work next week and has too much to do this weekend. No plans yet but I have some ideas; headed out to check on things.

OH.............God no.....Their doing a promise ring kind of thing until she get's out of school and can be around home again. Great young lady, Did a bunch of Ice fishing and Bird hunting while attending college in Milwaukee. Will be a Physician Assistant by next summer.
