Well made it home, We enjoyed our trip but it was the worst stretch of weather we have ever had. Had 50* and pouring, Then it dropped to 10 with a 30 mph wind off the pond. Bitter cold............ Next day was half way nice, we did get out to fish for 3 hours on 5-6 inches of clear black ice. No fish but good to be out. The next day was another rain /Ice storm and you couldn't even stand up outside. Tried the Dog's on some Hare's but couldn't get one going. Came back soaked. Spent the day reading and a nap. Had a great new years eve dinner with friends. I was DD which is fine with me. Soda doesn't give me a headache in the morning........... ;D ;D ;D We were home and in bed by 10...... :o

Arrived home to find that we have a blown motor on a Bog pump, Can look in and see the crankshaft. Wood splitter clutch broke, I have no wood in the house ( boy's burned it all and couldn't split more) The furnace is shut off because it had an issue with smoking ( thus the no fire wood in pile) and the next 3 night's are going to be the coldest of the year so far.........................I just Grin and get welcomed back to reality....... ;D ;D ;D

So I have the boiler cleaned and working. Told MOM it didn't really matter to me I was working the next 3 days and will be warm at work.  ::) ::)

Now to finish unpacking.......Happy New Year all.

Almost forgot........In our gloom of getting skunked on the water and woods The wife was grumbling about this sucking...blah-blah. So I give her the old Well it's called fishing and hunting line......... :o :o :o She said that was stupid ........Apparently in our house it will be called Catching and Killin from now on?

Vacation sounds pretty good compared to what you came home to Bog. Glad you got the boiler working, going to be a tad chilly.

Finished the trailer today. Not the prettiest thing on the road, but for a loaner trailer and under twenty bucks it'll work for the winter. Had to make it all disassemble able so I can give it back in the spring. In the future I'll put the trailer on the truck while loading  :o.

Thanks guys. Not to mention the studs Scott, the center is bare metal. Biggest problem was the trailer was about a foot short. All recycled except the 4x8 partical board, four U bolts and a hand full of screws.
