That seems like an awfully extreme reaction. Sounds like someone had an agenda and was looking for an issue.

How many of you hang your bucks from the rack? I was always told to hang them from the back legs because from the rack streches the skin on the neck real tight and makes it much harder to cape out? I don't know if it is true but I always listened to it to make my caping job easier.....?

Sunday night I just get in from the woods and get a call from Herb that he shot a nice buck with his bow but cant find any blood...And just to let you know Herb is color blind...  So he tells me to get my lantern and meet him by the big rivine..   So I get there and we find a few spots of blood but thats it...   So as I'm leaning on a tree looking down the revine the tree brakes and I go down 30 to 40 feet on my head...  Banged up pretty good and dazed...   Besides my face my left knee wont hold any weight and have a nice cut on my right shin...  I was all wet and muddy..   There is no going back up so Herb finds a way down and we have to walk out up the stream and call my brother to come get me with the wheeler....   Probably should have gone to the emergancy room but I didnt..   Got home and got the ice packs out...  Went back out with my Jeep on Monday and found the buck.....   Still real sore today...

You got pretty lucky taking a dive that far. Looks like it hurts like hell. Glad it wasn't worse. Nice buck Herb got.
