Geez Kev, Good thing you wern't standing there. Have a good trip out tomorrow.
Did some real adirondack hunting today with an "old timer" I know. Found LOTS of fresh sign since the snow on thursday. Lots of tracks, fresh clumped droppings, a couple rubs, and they were ravaging the beech nuts. I didn't see anything but he saw two does and a small buck. This was on state land too! He's been hunting these places for 50 years and is passing it all on to me. I feel really greatful and had a great time outdoors with him today. Checked the cams tonight, and saw 4 does as I was walking in. Then finished the night with one final motorcycle ride... through snowflakes Overall, a great day
Fingers are crossed... I haven't scouted at all, but just texted a buddy who lives around the corner from the launch. He hasn't been out, but said someone he knows has been out a few times a ways up the creek, and has done well this week.
Apparently I turned the clocks back a day too early
Guess I was tired.....Went to bed @ 9pm and woke up @ 7am.... Glad your OK Kevin!!!Hope the new spot turns out to be great Half!!!!
How about a week? It's next weekend isin't it. This is what happens when you start hanging around with "old timer's".
