We had one for a lot of years....One 16X20 wall tent for a cook tent, and a 12X16 for a sleep tent....I added a Alanak a few years before we quit. Just for extra sleeping and if some wanted to sit up.... We ordered all from Cabelas....Had a Kerosene heater for the sleep tent, and a box stove for the other two.....Propane cook stove, off a 20lb tank.  Was very comfy...

Can you drive to it Half? Seems like for that $$ you could get a used but functional camper and park it there. That's what I did while I was building my camp. The tent's a cool idea though, Deer camp as it should be.

For that kind of money I'd definitely do with a rough cut building built on a slab or on runners.  We built a 10' x 20' sugar shack with a metal roof for just over $2000.  It was built on three 12" X 8" X 20' beams for runners.  You can get the rough cut and metal roofing from the Amish for a good price.

I can drive to it in my civic. There's a cleared dirt road that goes in about 100 yards off a paved road to a big opening where I'd like to put something. I'll have to look into some other ideas. I was thinking camper, but was hoping to half something spacious for 5-6 guys to hang out in comfortably. I'll have to look into some other options. I might have to track down some Amish folks.
