looking forward to first season in Mass
« on: Aug 28, 2010, 04:56:40 PM »
Im moving to Mass  soon to go to BSU on the GI Bill. Ive only hunted  here in the WMNF in NH. And am really looking forward and excited about hunting in MA this season. from what Ive read it seems like a monster buck producing state. whether it is or not ill still have fun getting out there in some new country. anyone have input on hunting in Plymouth county. Ill most likely be going in the Rocky Gutter WMA and Myles Standish SF. I cant wait to get around to scouting out that country for October.

Lot's of deer down in this neck of the woods. Lot's of people too so It's a little different than the White Mt's.I don't like crowds so I haven't hunted the gutter in years but there are still lot's of deer there. Where are you moving to?

Middleboro... Rite near Gutter

I'm in Freetown- 10 min's away. Don't be afraid to knock on doors too, Lot's of Agriculture in that Middleboro/carver/rochester area that if asked and not just trespassed on would welcome a sportsman. Let me know when you get here we can grab a coffee and shoot the ship. ;D
