Spent a long time putting up a stand today to primarily use for coyotes and maybe some gun hunting. I thought the stand would be high enough to see the field over the sumac and other thick brush. I was wrong and spent a few hours clearing out  stuff so thick you can't move through it to get to be able to clear some tops down. Arms are tore up, burnt two finger tips and scratched my right eyeball. But I got two lanes open  ;D. New chainsaw worked well too.

Nice to see some hard antlers too. Only had the one camera left out in the pasture so that's the only one I checked.

I think the first two might be the same deer, a bigger six. Looks a lot like the six I shot last year, going to be a little tough to let him walk if our paths cross.

I haven't been in the woods more than 3-4 times since last winter. I should be able to catch one of them moving in the daylight hopefully. Intentionally left my cameras where they would mostly get night pics to try to keep them comfortable where my stands are.

Here's a few videos from the apple trees. I like the coyote taking a second to figure out the camera is there and then turning inside out.
