We'll be pulling you away from the bass on the sunken islands the whole time  ;D. I should have a lot more time to ice fish this winter the way things are looking now, might not be able to afford the gas to get there though  ::).

I'll be driving. The snowmobile is paid for, so I'll still have that if there's enough ice. Haven't even had it on LG yet and it's been on schroon twice, and I've only fished schroon a handful of times  :o.

Got three stands trimmed and restrapped today, that's six good to go so far. I don't like going near them this close to the season but at least they're done. Was putting a camera in the tree next to a stand as soon as I got to it and look over to see a doe 20yds away. Fortunately she got into a swarm of bugs or something and wandered off after a little twitching fit. Not much on the trail cameras just daily does and a few blurry small bucks. They are hammering the crab apples now. Did get a few turkey pics and had six or so in one pic so at least one hen managed to get some of her chicks this far. That was real nice to see. The 16gb card from the time lapse is full and I can't get it to open to copy the images onto my laptop.

It was nice that it was finally cool enough to work on the stands without sweating like mad. There's plenty of small bucks around, hopefully the two girls can each get close to one of them. I still have two more stands there to set up, not sure if I'll go back next weekend I'd rather let the woods settle back down.
