Cleaned up this stand and the two man (junk) stand on the pasture today. I had at least two deer come in and watch me trimming on this one. I never saw them but there's no doubt they were deer and within 50yds of me. So I never actually touched the stand, just cleared a few lanes and left.

I'd be happy to run into this buck for sure, but he's not the best one in the area.

Not sure why this doe is so fat. I hope she doesn't drop a fawn now.

Two months today since I quit smoking. Walked down to the bar last night for a few drinks and it seemed like the whole place was smokers  ::). It actually was't that bad.

Thanks Dom. My friends daughter was out practicing with slugs today. He said she still wasn't sure if she wants to deer hunt or not. She does like going out for coyotes with her AR though. If she decides to deer hunt it will be cool to try to get another hunter her first deer this year. Apparently there was a bees nest in the target board that wasn't to happy once she started blasting 20ga hole in it  ;D.

Pretty strange. I know this doe didn't have or lost her fawn last year and doesn't have one again. She has had that scar on her side for a while so she's easy to spot.
