Use those pheasant and turkey legs
« on: Mar 25, 2009, 04:05:08 PM »
Here is what I do with them and it turns out pretty good.

Throw them (about 3/4 lb. after deboning) in a crock pot with a couple of chicken boullion cubes. cook until it's falling off the bone. Debone all the meat, all those toothpick bones slide right out now. Cook a package of stovetop stuffing. Mix in 1/2 package(1/2lb.) of mixed frozen vegetables (defrosted) your turkey or pheasant meat. Place in a 9x13 baking pan. Sprinkle sharp cheddar cheese over the top and place some french's fried onions over the cheese. 30 mins.@350 uncovered. You won't throw those legs away anymore!

Variation: Before adding cheese, spread 1 can cream of mushroom or cream of chicken on top of mixture and top with remaining ingredients.

Velocity is energy, energy is shock, shock is killing power. Love those cartridges that exceed 4,000 fps.
