Woo hoo! I haven't spent the time I used to in the woods shooting squirrels and let me tell you...my deer hunting marksmanship has suffered because of it IMHO. It's great practice and soo much fun. Plus they are pretty tasty ;)

I'm peeved! I looked online today double checking that I could hunt em Friday...and they moved it to Sept. 16th. Dang!  :'(

I could probably go and not get caught...but oh well. Not worth it for a couple squirrels

It is better after the leaves drop, but you can bet that I'll be out there Friday AM.
I'm looking forward to it! And my a-hole brother-in-law has actually agreed to let me go in his woods. Not for deer, but at least for squirrels...
What kind of dog do you take with you? I've heard of squirrel dogs, but have never seen one in action.

Geese and doves come in tomorrow here in PA.  I have a couple of spots where I can go and get out.  Don't know if they'll be any good or not, but may as well get out.

Jack Jussel? I'm not familiar with them. How does he/she help you?
Do you send 'em around to flush the squirrels back towards you, kinda like a sheep dog?
