Opening day

Had a couple of deer in a field in the am but no shot. One of them was grunting at the other. In the afternoon I brought my gf out and she climbed up about 10 yards away from my stand in my climber and we had a skipper feeding around in between us for a while. No shooters though...Tim

Had a what I believe was a little doe come within 15 yards of my stand last night was hard to see as it was getting dark. I was just about to climb out of my stand when i heard something heading my way decided to wait and see what it was. It took its sweet time getting to me so by the time it was close enough I could barely see it. To dark to attempt a shot. The deer never knew I was there so I waited for it to move on before leaving my stand.

kid it must of smelled that skoal straight.........

Maybe but if that deer didn't like the smell of skoal straight, she isn't worth putting in my freezer anyways
