Shutdown Affecting anyone's Hunting Plans?
« on: Oct 02, 2013, 12:59:36 PM »
Looks like the CMR and some national forests are closing shop to hunters and campers with the shut down.  Anyone having to change plans?  I wonder how they think they're going to keep people off the CMR in the Breaks?  Thats a pretty massive area to patrol when they're all working, let alone when they're all at home collecting unemployment.

Family and I were goin to head up to the north side, do some drinking/fishing and elk watching on Slippery Ann... but not going to now. CMR may be quite large, but they will have that place shut tight as popular as it always is!

Unless things change I guess I will probably get the boat all winterized and ready for the winter... or talk my wife into letting me go fishing somewhere with it one more time.
