I originally wasnt going to post these but I have decided too. There are some on here who dont think I belong here. I dont really care what you think. Here are the most recent trail cam pics. If you appreciate them please comment. First four are not over bait if anyone is concerned.

Thanks for the comments. Not many buck pics during shooting hours though. Just this half rack that I gave a pass earlier in the season. The big 10 showed up again last night but he was on the move. Pic is blurry but I am certain its him. Possibly hot on a young doe's trail.

You know me I have to stir the pot with some of the MHF Posse. Here is some food for thought. We are baiting these deer and there are no shooter bucks during legal shooting light the last few months. Is baiting really that easy when your hunting an 1 acre property? Answer is heck no its not! If it was I would have been dragging out a buck out by now. Baiting on hundreds of acres would be different story......

Yes I did. I shot a doe and a three point. Queerest hunting trip of my life. Had I known beforehand I wouldn't have gone that is for sure.

Had this camera out since early November. Cant beat the battery life on the S40. Lasted a month on 2 rechargeable AA's and fired over 500 pics. Even caught a guy that needs a good thrashing. Shame I didnt get him facing the camera.

He may have just not looked directly at the camera. Either way it didnt turn up missing, he would have had to cut the python cable to take it.

Thanks. I wish it wasn't looking right at the camera. It would have been clearer instead the flash from the eye blurred it a little. Still a good pic though.

Thank you for the comments. :) I moved the carcasses closer for the homerun pics. I put new batteries in the board but didnt swap the card. I do know I got a couple fox pics and the eagles are coming in daily. I will have more pics to share when I check the cam again.

Last day of shotgun season was yesterday. I killed a doe that makes 8 on the year. ;D Bow is in through the end of Jan. so I still have a shot at some antlers.

HAHA Broadheads are plenty sharp, plus I have about 15 meatseekers...If they hate me because I love to hunt, kill, and eat deer then they shouldnt be on this site... hahah

Actually had a couple bucks with both sides gone. Some others only had one side it wont be long now. This spot should have some bruisers next season.

I have harvested 11 deer this season. Almost sealed the deal on a good buck Monday night but that didnt happen. I did kill another doe though that night. Depending on what happens tomorrow that may make two years in a row I have eaten all my buck tags. There are a couple bucks I passed on earlier in the year I wish I would have shot now. Oh well no sense of dwelling on them they will be bigger next season. Tomorrow is our last day of the season till Sept. They are calling for 25-35 mph winds and gust up to 40. I will be in a tree in the afternoon after work.

You guys haven't much for snow. Was thinking NE would be a bit more that down here in NY. My son's working at Stratton Mnt and they have quite a bit even with the recent poor weather.

While I did not take a deer on the last day it was a good hunt. We arrived on the scene about 2:30 and man was the wind blowing. I really didnt expect to see any on stand with the high winds but its the last day you have to tough it out. Our stand locations overlook a creek bottom. I can see Brian's stand and he can see mine since we are facing each other about 50 yards away. At 4:54 he texts me down in the creek bottom behind you. I turn slowly to see four deer and three of them have antlers. I get my rangefinder up for a better looksee. One is a shed out buck the other a 4 point and the last two are 8 points. The last 8 was a buck we call Fastball. A gust of wind came and kind of spooked them as the ran parallel to me at 60 yards up towards the thicket. Fastball stopped on the park walking trail as he watch the other deer standing there. It looked as though the shed buck was going to come in but Brian decides to use his grunt call. Why he did this I have no idea so he starts blowing on it like its a party kazoo. ??? The shed buck is standing there looking for whats doing the grunting but doesnt see a deer. He finally takes off with the others following suit. Nothing hit the ground but anytime you can see 4 bucks traveling together its a good hunt. ;D I am already looking forward to seeing them again next season.

That does sound exciting drobs...4 deer at a time must have been crazy. Especially when 3 of them are bucks.

Went and pulled my last trail cam a few days ago. I do have some homebrew gut pile pics but the camera is at my buddies since I let him use it. I will get those pics up soon. Nothing special on this one since the batteries died in the cam about 3 weeks before. The cool thing was I got pics of the deer I harvested. Which one exactly I dont know but it was one of them. The camera was about 60 yards from my climber and I see them around the cam. Nothing like some late season bow kills not over bait. ;)

Went and pulled a stand at the Canal spot last weekend. Went to a different spot on the farm and pulled my camera that had been out for several months. I knew the battery was low last time I had checked it so it didnt take very many pics. Here are a few of the better ones. Pics are from the end of Dec. beginning of Jan. Not sure what kind of bird that is.
