Title: Got started.

I set out 11 live traps Thursday and caught 2 coons and 1 skunk. Saturday I will set out 36 or so of my bucket sets with 220 dukes in them. I did get to try out my new home made winch skinner on the coons, it does save quite a bit of time and is a lot easy'er on my hands.

Caught 1 small coon that I released to grow up and didnt catch any skunks great day. Went pheasant hunting yesterday instead of setting my buckets out. Going to set them this morning.

Doin' better than me, I've only got 1/2 dozen sets out at a time. Grand total of 4 coon, 3 skunks and 2 house cats. Can't get a fox or coyote to pay any attention to anything I've set.

To date I got 3 skunks, 4 stray cats and 30 coons. I took one load of coons to the guy I sell to but havnt made a second trip yet. It snowed and went usbzero here so most of the coons have found a hole to climb into.

All done for this season time to go ice fishing. Season total was 3 skunks, 5 stray cats, and 40 coons. 2 of my bucket sets still have the skunks in them I will go back this summer when their just bones and get those back. I hate skunks. Thaks guys and good luck to any that are still trapping.

Rather than start a new thread I thought I would just add to this one. Started the 2011 season by setting out 34 bucket sets and 11 live traps on the 7. To date I have around 30 coons 1 stray cat and for once no skunks. I will try and take pics of them when just before I haul them off, which will have to be soon cause my freezers are almost full. I dont skin them just sell them whole.

I new if I said that S work I would catch one. Got 1 skunk 1 cat and 8 coons today.
