Looks like pretty decent buck

He will do just fine for one of the kids or the wife to bag their first Buck.So will the doe for that matter. We dont grow them too big here too many roads,traffic and pressure on neighboring property. If i dont shoot it when it comes by the next guy is going to. Lots of them though.

Had 34 pic's on the cam in 4 1/2 days, I pulled it today so I didn't have a card full of hurricane wind. No buck's yet but a couple of a nice fat does and a few skippers around too. The first pic was within an hour of when I set it up.

Looking good. Do you know if that buck from last year made it? Looks he was a decent bodied deer.

They looked better before I shrunk them down. It's just a cheap camera. The best part is that most of the pic's are during shooting light. My #1 goal for this season is to put her on a stand to harvest a deer. So far this is the best that I have so we will see. You saw her when she catches fish Imagine shooting a deer!!!!!!!

Checked the cam today, Only had 58 pic's but it seem's that the battery's have been dead since tuesday. I think it's time to get a better model with IR.
No bone on any this round, good news is the slick heads are all out in the shooting light.

That doe in the 4th picture was probably seeing spots for a while after that shot.. ;D ;D Nice pictures... Cant wait to see LH's..

Nice pics bogman. The IR does make a difference but I still think they see it. Just dont think it spooks them as much though.

I may have to go sit in the berries next weekend to try for a bear. Never saw one during bow season. I've heard them in the apple trees, but never saw them.
Will give me some time out scouting as well. A good runway goes through the edge of a big berry patch. I can watch for deer while I wait for Mr. bruin.

Had the camera in a spot where there may be some human activity this weekend so I picked it up. I had about 24 pic's of boneless backstrap mostly of this one. I am encouraged that everywhere I have put it there is activity anyway.

First card pull, Not a monster but he's a few point's worth. Only a 2 day set, found a spot I would really rather have the camera so I moved it.

Had 18 pic's all of him at different time's with one more pair of eyes in the background. I think he would make a nice first for MOM too. ;D

He would if she was on my team ;D. I hope one of the family puts a hole in him, you know he's living there so someone should see him. I'd be thrilled to take one that size this year myself.

Well I guess but I dont want to be looking at him sitting out side my window all season. (Not that close but almost) ;D ;D It's in a real thicket and the ladder might be seen from the ridge above it. Average Ma$$hole wouldnt put the effort in to go down in that mess and find it accidently. ::)
I can assure you that Bog's house is still a well protected safe haven even today. ;)
